These terms govern your use of Find a Pro WNY. By using the site, you agree to them.

Using the directory

Find a Pro WNY is an informational directory. We are not a party to any agreement between homeowners and contractors, and we do not guarantee the quality, licensing, or availability of any listed business. Always verify credentials before hiring.

Listings and claims

Business information is compiled from public sources and may contain errors. Business owners may claim and update their listing. Submitting false claims or unauthorized changes is prohibited.

Removing or correcting a listing

Most listings are compiled from public sources, which means a business can appear here without having asked to. If that is your business, you have three options and none of them require you to buy anything:

• Correct it. Use the “Report incorrect information” link on any listing, or claim the listing to edit it yourself.
• Remove it. Email hello@findaprowny.com from an address associated with the business, or call us, and ask for removal. We will remove the listing within five business days. We do not require a reason and we will not ask you to take a sales call first.
• Suppress the phone number only. If you would rather stay listed but not be called through the directory, ask and we will remove the number instead.

Removal is permanent for as long as you want it to be: we record the request so a later import does not re-add the business. If a listing reappears after you asked us to remove it, tell us and we will treat it as a fault on our side.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including scraping, spamming, or submitting fraudulent quote requests or claims.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use constitutes acceptance of the current version.
