Listing Policy

This policy describes how listings on Find A Pro WNY are created, maintained, and removed.

How listings are created

Listings are compiled from public business information — name, category, public phone and website, and service area. We do not copy descriptions, reviews, photos, or logos from other sources without permission.

Unclaimed listings

An unclaimed listing means the business has not yet verified or managed it. Business owners can claim their listing for free to update details and receive quote requests.

Corrections and removal

Every listing includes a way to report incorrect information. To correct or remove a listing, use the report link on the profile or email hello@findaprowny.com. We act on verified requests promptly.

Badges

“Claimed” means an owner manages the listing. “Verified” means we have confirmed the business through email or manual review. Badges are never sold.
