Find a Pro WNY is recognizing 30 business owners aged 18–29 who build, repair, improve and care for homes and property in Erie and Niagara Counties. Your members know these people — many of them are these people.

What we’re asking

Nominate anyone you think deserves it — you know them better than we do.
Tell us if there’s a better person here to talk to.

What we’re not asking

No cost, no sponsorship, no membership, nothing to sign.
No role in choosing recipients — partners don’t review or score nominations.
Sharing this isn’t an endorsement of Find a Pro WNY, and we won’t describe it as one.

Dates

Nominations open: October 15, 2026
Nominations close: November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET
Recipients notified privately: December 16, 2026
The Class of 2027 is announced: January 15, 2027

Nominations open: Find a Pro WNY 30 Under 30

Find a Pro WNY has opened nominations for its inaugural 30 Under 30 class, recognizing 30 business owners aged 18–29 who build, repair, improve and care for homes and property across Erie and Niagara Counties.

Eligible nominees own or co-own an active trade, contracting, construction, property or home-service business. There is no cost to nominate or be nominated, no membership requirement, and nothing that can be purchased affects selection. There is no public voting: nominations are reviewed for eligibility and scored by a review committee against a published rubric.

Anyone can nominate — customers, employees, colleagues, instructors, family members, or the owners themselves. It takes about ten minutes.

Nominations close November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. The Class of 2027 will be announced January 15, 2027.

Questions people ask

Does it cost anything to nominate or be selected? No. Nominating is free, there is no public voting, and nothing anyone buys affects selection. A Find a Pro WNY listing is not required.

Who can nominate? Anyone — customers, employees, colleagues, instructors, family, or the owners themselves. It takes about ten minutes.

What do recipients get? Recognition as part of the class, an individual editorial spotlight, a digital badge, and a complimentary year of a Premium Find a Pro WNY listing. The listing is a fuller profile, not better placement — it doesn’t change where a business ranks in search.

How are recipients chosen? Eligibility is reviewed, then a committee scores each nomination against a published rubric. The criteria and weights are in the official rules.

Can we help choose? No — and that’s deliberate. Keeping selection with Find a Pro WNY is what lets every partner share it without vouching for the result.
